In keeping up with the times, we have decided to put
our newsletter on the web site this year!
“2007” was a great year for both the sun lovers and
the die hard fishermen. Every year we enter our
biggest fish in the Rice Lake Tourist Ass. Contest.
This year we have had 3 winners, Steve Marzullo with his
9lbs.15 oz. walleye, Melissa Bok with her 30 lbs.10oz.
muskie, andBill Schwartz with his 24lbs. carp.
Congratulations!
Muskie Bay’s winners will be posted on our “Fishing
Page” of the web site. Also note that Bass Season
has been changed to the 4th Saturday in June. Any
new fishing information can be checked on the ministry
links on this page also.
Confirmations for Summer “2008” will be mailed the
first week of December 2007. Deposits are due
January 15,2008. Please send in on time, to avoid
any disappointment. If you cannot make it to Muskie
Bay next year, please let us know ASAP, either by e-mail
or phone, so that we can share Muskie Bay with another
family.
Passport Requirements- Please check web site, as nothing
has been finalized. www.travel.state.gov
“2007” marked our eleventh year here at Muskie Bay. As
we look over old photos, we can see the tremendous changes
in our time here. We have one cottage left to
renovate, then all 23 cottages will be complete.
Last summer we purchased 4 new Large Bass Boats, and
feedback from our fishermen let us know how much they were
appreciated. They are proving to be much more
efficient to the fishermen as well as environmentally
friendly.
We are now able to provide our guests with wireless
internet service which has proven to be an advantage for
anyone needing to “keep in touch” with home, or work.
We are always open to suggestions or ideas on how to make
Muskie Bay even better!
