Catch & Possession Limits

Fishery laws limit the number of fish you can catch or possess.  The number will depend on the species, where they are caught and, in some cases, their size.  The catch limit is the number of fish you are allowed to catch and keep in one day.  Fish eaten for shore lunch are included in the daily catch limit.  The possession limit is the number you are allowed to have in your possession on hand, in cold storage, in transit, etc.  Possession limits are the same as one dayıs catch limit except where otherwise specified. Fish that have been lawfully caught and are suitable for food must not be destroyed or allowed to spoil.  For more fishing information visit the web site of the Ministry of Natural Resources. (MNR website www.mnr.gov.on.ca/MNR/fishing/ )

September 15, 2009 - was the
final deadline in Canada for all recreational boat operators to have their Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
BoaterExam.com is a Transport Canada Accredited Course Provider and the largest issuer and most important Course provider in the country. BoaterExam.com also operates and is approved in 31 US states.

Guests do not have to have Operator Card to rent a boat, we have a Boat Safety Checklist here that we will go over with them, and they keep copy on boat, that is all that is necessary!   * US guests bringing their own boat follow the rules of their home state.
